CANCELLATION POLICIES

An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required when making reservations.

Balance is due sixty (60) days before your arrival date. A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur 50% penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay or that are made within 60 days of the arrival date forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit.

Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Changes for monthly renters which result in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in.

No refunds will be given unless the National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or a "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area, we will refund any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered; any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay to return after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

There will be no refunds due to acts of God, nature, weather or weather related situations, mechanical failure, earthquake, etc.

Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

The number of guests stipulated on the confirmation document is the maximum number of guests allowed to stay at the property. If more people arrive than stated on the confirmation document, they may be denied occupancy or an extra person charge of $25 USD per person, per night will apply.

Tenants occupying the property will be responsible for any damages caused by the individual or their guests, to the property or its contents during their stay. Cost for damage will be limited to repairs or replacement value of the items damaged.

NO pets will be allowed in the unit without written permission prior to arrival.

Unlawful activities, including illegal drug use will not be tolerated. Noise curfews affecting nearby properties will be strictly enforced. If these policies are not adhered to, you will be asked to leave the property immediately and no refund will be given.

You will be issued two (2) sets of keys to the property. If more sets of keys are needed for your stay, please notify us by email. If keys are not returned or lost, the cost of replacement keys is $25 USD.

 

Gratuity Appreciation Statement

Please remember that each of the good folks who work hard for you (maid, desk or security staff, etc.) while you are here in Puerto Vallarta really depend on your kind gratuity for support.

Andales On The Bay suggests that the maids, concierge and the various building staff that may assist you receive a $2.00 to $3.00 USD per day gratuity for the period of your time in Vallarta. If the staff has really gone the extra mile, then a well deserved extra "propina" (gratuity) would certainly be welcome.

The average median income in Mexico is only about $500 USD per month, and every penny counts. These are great folks who are working very hard for you and Andales On The Bay would like to encourage your support for their efforts.
